Want to make a difference in your community?
Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice serves the needs of terminally ill patients and their families. The staff of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice includes highly trained professionals from a variety of disciplines: Nurses, Home Health Aides, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Chaplains, and Bereavement Counselors. Alongside our paid Hospice staff, we are privileged to have the support of a dedicated group of people who give selflessly of their time and resources. These people are our Volunteers.
Whether involved in visiting hospice patients, working in the office, or assisting at our inpatient unit, volunteers are an important part of the work we do. Our volunteers find it personally gratifying, intellectually stimulating and emotionally meaningful to assist those in need at a critical point in their lives. They give of their time and talent providing those we serve an additional layer of comfort and support. We offer opportunities to volunteer in Wichita and Southeast Kansas.
