Hospice is an inclusive benefit, however, as with all managed care programs there are guidelines.  A comprehensive range of services is provided by team members who have completed specialized training in areas like wound care, symptom management and pain control.  You would be best served by discussing your needs with your care team before seeking additional medical care.  Some areas not covered by Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice are:
 

·         Services, treatment or medication unrelated to your terminal diagnosis or not included in your plan of care

·         Services or treatment intended to cure your terminal illness

·         Services from any other health care provider that Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice can perform

·         Care from another hospice that is not arranged by Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice

·         Room and board in a long term facility
